The Twin Holy Days: The Births of the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh
Each year on October 22 and 23, Bahá’ís around the world celebrate the Twin Holy Days — the Birth of the Báb and the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh. These two days honor the founders of the Bahá’í Faith and are occasions for joy, reflection, and community gatherings.
The Birth of the Báb marks the appearance of the Herald who prepared the way for Bahá’u’lláh’s message of unity and peace. The following day commemorates the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh Himself, whose teachings call humanity toward justice, compassion, and the oneness of humankind.
