The Peace Pole and Hiroshima Tree at the Peace Plaza shone at the third annual Peace Through Unity celebration in Cottage Grove’s Coiner Park on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The celebration accompanies the International Day of Peace.

A rainy morning limited attendance, but those who showed up enjoyed entertainment, a raffle and the warm welcome of several stalwart supporters who had arrived early to set up tables and booths for sharing their organizations’ dreams of a peaceful world.
